Welcome
Visitors, please fill out the Connection Card from the seat rack in front of you. Following the morning service, we would love to meet with you in the Guest Gallery to the right of the Sanctuary, where we have refreshments and a gift waiting.

Party With The Pastors
The pastors and their families would like to get to know you better! If you are new to Evangel, please join us in the Fellowship Hall for Party with the Pastors, immediately following this morning's Worship Service. A luncheon is being prepared for you!        

Serve
Serve is a ministry of Evangel Assembly of God. Serve exists to give individuals the opportunity to use their gifts and talents through  service. One of the greatest ways to show the love of Jesus to our church family and community is by serving others. What would our church  and this community look like if we began to serve as Jesus did? We would like to give you the opportunity to get involved, make a difference, and experience the thrill of working beside others who are passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God through service. Evangel Assembly Business Directory
We will soon publish another updated edition of our Evangel Assembly Business Directory. If you would like your business to be included, please submit your business' name and information. You can find our current Business Directory in the information rack in the foyer.  

Teen Challenge Graduate Assistance
Are you cleaning out your house, or just have things sitting around that you don't need anymore? Two of the five Teen Challenge students that are graduating are relocating their wives and setting up house here in Tallahassee. They are in need of all types of household items, from livingroom to kitchen. Second hand items are welcome!  Contact: Teen Challenge (385-8336).  

Happy Hearts Sunday School Class
The Happy Hearts Sunday School class, formerly Saints Alive, is taught by Pastor Lecce on Sunday mornings in the Chapel. This class is for all adults, young and old. Come and enjoy this time of teaching and class participation on various subjects.       

               
Nursery
Nursery is provided up to age three during all services. Also, there is a room available in the Education Building just for nursing mothers. Just see someone in the Nursery for directions. During this morning's service the following ladies are helping in the Nursery: Allison Poggie, Ann Darst, Karen Burton, and Peggy Smith. And next Sunday, September 5, Mollie Rudd, Sharon Hercule, Sarah Rudd, and Jamie Boynton, will be serving.

Day of Prayer and Fasting, September 1
The first Wednesday of every month has been set aside as a day of prayer and fasting. Join us on Wednesday, September 1, as we pray for our church, family and friends, and our nation. The Sanctuary is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for prayer.

Labor Day Weekend, September 5 - 6
Labor Day is next weekend! Please note that the church   office will be closed on Monday, September 6, and the   evening services have been cancelled for Sunday, September 5. We hope that you have a relaxing holiday weekend with your family!

Mommy & Me Back-To-School Bash, September 7
Join us for a Back-To-School Bash with Mommy and Me, at Sherilyn Toro's house on Tuesday, September 7th, at 11:00 am. Please bring a side dish to go with hotdogs and hamburgers. Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm. Please RSVP with Sherilyn, by Monday, September 6th, or call for directions or questions. 

   
Fellowship Bible Study, September 10
On September 10, the Fellowship Bible Study will meet at Paul and Mavis Stephens' home (60 Red Fern Rd., Havana). Bring your Bible and a covered dish to share. See Mavis Stephens or Gracie Kelso if you have questions.

E-Women Breakfast, September 11
All ladies are invited to the E-Women Breakfast on Saturday, September 11, beginning at 9:30 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall. Around 10:00 a.m., Loyce Bussey will be speaking to us on "pursuing the will of God". Plan to bring a breakfast food item to share with everyone, and be sure to sign up in the foyer.  

Evangel Riders Motorcycle Ride, September 11
The Evangel Riders are riding to the Marianna Caverns, on Saturday, September 11. Meet at 9:00 a.m., at the Shell gas station on Tennessee St., across from the Tractor Supply (just west of Capitol Cir. NW). Lunch is a surprise! Contact: Bob Wetherington.              

             
Life Groups Begin, September 12
Life Groups begin on September 12. Check out the Life Groups we offer and more in our new Fall Ministries Brochure, located at the Connection Center.

Water Baptisms, September 19
On Sunday, September 19, we will be having a water baptismal service. If you or a loved one would like to be baptized, please make note of that on your Connection Card, fill out the insert enclosed in this bulletin, or call the church office (385-1815).

WOW Conference, October 15 - 17
Ladies, the "early bird" registration for the WOW Conference in Norman Park, GA, on October 15 - 17, ends on September 17th! The "early bird" rate is $50 for the conference, plus accomodations. (After September 17th, the rate goes up to $65.) See Geri Ruis or one of our other ladies at the sign-up table in the foyer before or after service.
